SPE3203 Basketball and Cricket in Secondary Schools

The course introduces students to methods of teaching basketball and cricket skills, performing, organization, officiating, demarcating the basketball court and cricket oval and knowledge of playing the games of basketball and cricket.

Course Objectives

• Acquire basic knowledge and techniques for teaching and playing basketball and cricket
• Develop personal competence in organizing and officiating the game of cricket and basketball.
• Demonstrate competence in playing and teaching basketball at secondary school level
