FED2201 Philosophy of Education

This course deals with the contribution of philosophy to curriculum, moral and ethical issues with emphasis to Ugandan context.

Course objectives
This course unit is meant to lead students to

• Use philosophical thoughts pattern for isolating various educational and professional challenges that intrigue educationists.
• Identify philosophical problems in Education and try to solve them
• Employ tools of logic for improving capacity to think
• State the nature and purpose of philosophy in education
