IDE8205: Thesis Proposal Writing
Course Unit Description
Through this course, the Students will be skilled and equipped on how to develop a research proposal and justifying all aspects of the planned work. Each candidate’s proposals will be discussed in a series research seminar and with supervisors. The proposal must be approved by the supervisor before planned field work for the thesis can be undertaken. It shall fulfil all the aspects of the thesis described in section V.
Aim
The overall aim of this course is to train Students in development of high-quality research proposals.
Course objectives
At the end of this research, Students will be able to have an independent research project
Expected course outcome
- Develop capacity in Student to plan independent research and to communicate this in a research proposal and orally to the academic community.
