Course Unit Description
The course introduces students to the fundamental business accounting principles and procedures. Students will develop an understanding of the connections between financial analysis, control, decision making, the effects of technology and globalization and the role of the accountant.
Course Objectives
This course is intended to:
- Equip learners with the knowledge and skills of preparing books of accounts
- Impart knowledge and skills to learners to aid in producing financial statements
- Provide knowledge and skills of accounting principles to aid in accounting computations
