ECO2201 Intermediate Macroeconomics I

This course builds on the introductory macroeconomics studied in first year.  The objective of this course is to help the students to gain a deeper understanding of macroeconomic theory with greater use of graphical models.  The course focuses on the contribution of different models to the persisting macroeconomic problems.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students are able to:

• Explain key macroeconomic indicators
• Identify macroeconomic problems and suggest relevant policies to such problems 
• Use economic models and theories to analyze macroeconomic issues
