Course Unit Description
This course brings out to learners the concepts and theories of microeconomics. The major topics covered include National Income: Concepts and Measurements, National Income Accounting, The Classical Theory of Income, Output and Employment, The Principles of Effective Demand, The Consumption Function, The Investment Function, The Concept of Multiplier, Balance Budget Multiplier and Foreign Trade Multiplier, Income Determination in a Closed and Open Economy, Wage-Price Flexibility and Employment, and as well Inflation Policy and Types.

On successful completion of this course unit, the learners should be able:
