Course Unit Description
The course covers concepts like Trigonometry: Sine, cosine, tangent (Trigonometric ratios of acute angles use of tables, applications related to right angled triangles to include practical examples. Sin, coos, tan of angles 30o, 45o, 60o, 90o.); Secant, cosecant, cotangent; General angles; Pythagoras Theorem and Trigonometrical Identities; Sine and cosine rule; Coordinate Geometry; Equations and locus; and Circle.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, the student teacher should be able to:
- Develop and practice manipulative skills.
- Develop understanding of trigonometrical functions and their use in solving everyday life problems.
