DRI2105 Medical Records Management

This course introduces learners to medical records, safety and security of medical records, health management information system and ethics in managing medical records in health facilities.

Course objectives 
The aim of this course is to;

• Enable learners acquire knowledge and skills in managing medical records in health facility
• Equip learners with skills and knowledge in managing and using health management information system
• Enable learners acquire knowledge and skills on the code of conduct and ethical considerations in health facilities.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this course the learner should be able to:

• Manage medical records in health facility
• Use a health management information system
• Observe the code of conduct and ethical consideration in health facility
