DPB2202 Handball, Mini Crikets and/or Rounders

Aim

• To enable students to acquire knowledge and skills which they will use during participation, officiation and organization in the game of handball, cricket/rounder and rugby.

Course Objectives
By the end of this unit, students should be able to:

• Explain how handball facilities are constructed
• Demonstrate the skills used in the game of handball.
• Demonstrate the skills of throwing, catching, bowling and batting as applicable, toss striking and fielding games.
• Demonstrate the knowledge, techniques and basic skills of the rugby
• Teach basic rugby practical skills to primary school level.
