Course Unit Description
The course introduces the student to forms of life not often visible with naked human eyes, though the products of their activities may be seen or experienced or utilized.
Course objectives
- By the end of this course, students should:
- Be able to isolate, stain and use a compound microscope to see the cellular forms of these organisms
- Be able to recognize the products of activities of these organisms in nature
- Have an idea of how to control these organisms.
Expected outcomes
This is a foundation course for those interested in careers which involve dealing with micro organism.
